Mowing, landscaping, leaf removal, aeration, dethatching, mulching and edging for homes across Grand Island and the surrounding towns. Sharp lines, clean edges, and a property that looks finished when we pull away.
Book a single service or put your property on a full-season maintenance plan. Either way you get the same crew, the same standards and the same cleanup.
Spring – Fall
Lawn Mowing
Clean, striped cuts on a schedule you can set your watch by.
Weekly or bi-weekly mowing at the right height for your grass type and the season. We alternate mow patterns to keep the turf standing tall, and every visit ends with a full cleanup.
String trimming around fences, posts, trees, foundations and beds so the whole property reads as one finished space instead of a mowed middle with shaggy edges.
Design, planting and bed work that lifts the whole property.
From refreshing a tired front bed to planning and installing a full front-yard layout. We work with plants suited to the local climate so the result still looks good in year three.
Fresh mulch that holds moisture and shuts out weeds.
Bed prep, edge definition and an even layer of quality mulch at the depth that actually suppresses weeds without smothering roots. Color and material your choice.
Break up compaction so water, air and nutrients reach the roots.
Core aeration pulls plugs from the soil to relieve compaction and open the turf up. It is the highest-value thing you can do for a struggling lawn, and it pairs perfectly with overseeding.
When thatch builds past half an inch it blocks water and fertilizer from reaching soil. We power rake it out and haul the debris away so your lawn can breathe again.
One-time or recurring leaf cleanups — lawn, beds, fence lines and corners. Leaves left to mat down over winter kill grass and invite disease, so we get them out before the snow comes.
Spring cleanups clear winter debris and prep beds for the growing season. Fall cleanups cut things back and clear out before dormancy. Both make every visit in between easier.
Hedge trimming, bed redesigns, seeding, brush clearing, gutter-line cleanups — if it keeps a property looking sharp, ask us. We'll tell you straight if it's not something we do.

Why Homeowners Stay With Us
The unglamorous part, done right.
Most lawn care complaints aren't about mowing. They're about crews that skip weeks, dodge calls and leave a mess. We built Baseline Property Care around fixing exactly that.
We keep our routes tight so crews spend the day working instead of driving. Don't see your town? Ask anyway — if you're close to a current route, we can usually fit you in.
Storm or heavy rain? We push service to the next dry day and text you the update. Your schedule doesn't get skipped.
Questions
Straight answers.
How much does lawn mowing cost?
It depends on lot size, how much trimming and edging is involved, and how often you want service. Weekly customers pay less per visit than one-off cuts. Send us your address through the estimate form and we'll give you a flat per-visit price — no walk-through required for most properties.
Do you plow snow?
Not yet. We're a lawn and landscape operation right now, so winter service isn't something we offer. It's on the list for a future season — if that changes, current maintenance customers will hear about it first.
Can you cut the striped pattern I see on ball fields?
Yes, on most lawns. Those stripes are just grass bent in alternating directions catching the light — no dye, nothing added to the turf. It shows up best on cool-season grass that's healthy and cut a little taller, so it's partly down to how your lawn is doing. Ask us and we'll set the mow pattern up for it and tell you honestly whether your grass will hold the look.
Do I have to sign a long contract?
No. Maintenance plans run by the season and you can stop at any time. We'd rather keep you because the work is good than because you're locked in.
What happens if it rains on my service day?
We move you to the next workable day and let you know. Cutting saturated turf tears roots and leaves ruts, so we don't force it just to stay on schedule.
Should I aerate or dethatch?
Different problems. Aeration fixes compacted soil so water and nutrients reach the roots. Dethatching removes a built-up dead layer sitting on top of the soil. Plenty of lawns benefit from both, and we'll tell you which yours actually needs when we look at it.
Do you clean up when you're finished?
Every time. Clippings handled the way you prefer, walks and driveways blown clean, debris hauled off. A job isn't done until the property looks finished.
Are you insured?
Yes — licensed and insured. We're happy to provide proof of coverage before work starts if you'd like it on file.
How soon can you start?
Most estimates go out within 24 hours, and we can usually get a new property on the schedule the same week. Peak spring weeks fill fast, so earlier is better.
